The Nova Scotia Migration Research Forum is an interdisciplinary network focused on historic and contemporary migrations and mobilities in Nova Scotia and the Atlantic Region. Bringing together migration scholars, researchers, advocates, and community partners, the Forum is designed to showcase the migration- and mobilities-focused research conducted in and on Nova Scotia; to foster collegial conversation and collaboration across a range of sectors and academic disciplines; to promote regional migration scholarship; to encourage policy-relevant discussion and interventions related to immigration, labour mobilities, diasporic communities, and transnational families; and to amplify the voices and experiences of immigrants, newcomers, and migrants in the province.
